Acknowledgement for Anne (Annie) Hawe

 

We the family of the late Anne (Annie) Hawe. Would like to express our sincere appreciation to those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement on 8 June 2020. In these trying and difficult times thanks to everyone who sent Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, flowers, text and telephone messages of condolence. All of which were a great comfort to us. Heartfelt thanks to those who turned out in large numbers at the Church to pay their respects. Thanks to the doctors, sisters and nursing staff in ICU Antrim Area Hospital for their professional and dignified care. A very special mention to the Liaison staff for their kindness and compassion. We would like to thank Father John Gates for celebrating the requiem Mass. Sincere thanks to the McCusker Brothers and the grave diggers for their professional and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements. We thank all those – far too many to mention, who supported us and hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small token of our appreciation. 

Anne’s months mind mass will be held in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt on Wednesday 8 July at 8pm. Numbers have now been relaxed to 100. People from the same household can sit together. Others 2 per pew. Please forward this message to those you think would like to attend.

Acknowledgement for John McAllister

 

The family of the late John McAllister would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us following our recent bereavement. Thank you to everyone who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages, phone calls, flowers and letters of condolence, all of which were a great comfort to us. Thanks to Fr John Gates who visited our home and celebrated requiem mass, thanks to The Gribbin Girls for their beautiful singing. Sincere to the McCusker brothers, Enda, Tom and Ronan for all their help and advice in making arrangements and their professional and dignified manner carrying out the funeral. Thank you also to the grave diggers. A special thanks to the Trust Home Care Workers and community nurses who's care, compassion and support enabled us to keep John in his own home, they do an incredible job and we will be forever grateful. Thanks to Dr Morris, Dr O Kane and Dr Roddy and the staff at O'Brien's chemist for their attention to John's medical needs, and also to to his MHOP social worker Camille. John's months mind mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 15th July at 7.30pm in The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Magherafelt for anyone who can attend and will be broadcast via webcam at https://www.magherafeltparish.org/church-webcam.

Acknowledgement for Rose Murphy

 

The family of the late Rose Murphy (RIP) sincerely thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. Special thanks to all the medical staff who  attended Rose: the doctors and nurses at Antrim Area Hospital; Dr Johnston and all the nurses in Toome Surgery and The Diamond Medical Centre Magherafelt; the Respiratory Team in the Mid Ulster Hospital; the Staff at Home Care Independent Living and Anita Gribbon and the staff of Toome Pharmacy. Special thanks to Father McWilliams (Moneyglass) and Father Gates (Magherafelt) for their spiritual support and guidance throughout. For their efficient, dignified and extremely sensitive approach to every request, we are so thankful to the staff of McCusker Brothers Funeral Directors. Thanks to all those who telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards, placed messages on social media, brought gifts, called at the house, sent floral tributes, stood out along the funeral route and attended the funeral. A special thanks to my uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and many kind friends including Ann Blue and the staff of Centra, Toome who helped in many different ways before & after the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually  please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all at Rose's Months Mind Mass to be celebrated in the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes Moneyglass on Saturday 18th July at 7.00pm

The family of the late Mary Madden; Dan, Anna, Marie, James and Niall would like to express their sincere appreciation of the many friends and family for their kindness, support and prayers over the last few weeks following the death of their beloved wife and mother, thank you to the neighbours especially Terence McKeown for all his help following Mary’s death and over the years’ . We would like to thank all those who have called at the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and messages of condolence. We would also like to thank those who have shown support for James, Niall, Allyson and Jake in San Francisco; all of which were much appreciated. We took great comfort from the support of the large number of people who lined the route from our home to the chapel and those who attended the funeral mass. A special word of thanks to Fr John Forsythe for his support to the family and preparations for the funeral mass. To the care team from One2one and the district nurses from Randalstown Surgery who attended Mary with such care and affection we wish to express our deepest appreciation also the staff from Randalstown pharmacies and the doctors and nurses from Antrim Area Hospital. Our most sincere thanks to The McCusker brothers for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements also the men who prepared the grave. Thanks  also to Dervla and Bosco Murray for the beautiful music during the mass. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually we trust this acknowledgement will be appreciated.  The family of the late Ursula Storrie; Seamus, Maria, Cathy, Ryan and Jacinta would like to express their sincere appreciation to the many friends and family for their kindness, support and prayers over the last few weeks on the death of their beloved wife and mother. We would like to thank all those who have called at the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, letters of condolence and those who placed messages on social media; all of which were much appreciated. We were overwhelmed by the large number of people who lined the route from our home to the chapel and we took great comfort from the support of those who attended the funeral mass, listened outside the chapel and the many whose thoughts were with us. We would like to express our gratitude for those who travelled long distances.A special word of thanks to Fr Dallat and Fr McWilliams for their spiritual guidance and very personal funeral ceremony.  To the team at Garden Street Surgery, the district nurses from Randalstown Surgery and the NI Hospice nurses who attended Ursula with such care and affection, we wish to express our deepest appreciation. Our most sincere thanks to the McCusker Bros Funeral Directors for their very dignified and professional funeral arrangements, to the many men who prepared the grave, to the Gribbin Girls for their lovely music inside the chapel and to Noel who piped so beautifully outside the chapel. Our heartfelt thanks to the many nursing and healthcare friends who provided such an emotional guard of honour for Ursula.

We as a family have been overwhelmed with support but due to the current situation it was not possible to meet with all the many friends and family that wished to pay their respects to Ursula. It is impossible to thank everyone and we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest gratitude.

Darren, Michelle and family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the many family and friends for their kindness, support and prayers over the last few weeks. They would like to thank all those who called at the house, sent mass and sympathy cards and flowers. Many thanks to all those who prepared and sent refreshments. Also to John Wilson (caretaker) and Martin Wilson who directed the traffic to the chapel. They took great comfort from those who attended the funeral, lined the route, listened outside the chapel and the many who watched the mass online. A special word of thanks to Fr Peter Donnelly for his spiritual guidance and very fitting service. Sincere thanks to the McCusker Brothers for their dignified and professional funeral arrangements, grave diggers, readers and Margaret Ann and Patrick for the beautiful music. A special thanks to Mr Tom Diamond Consultant Mater Hospital Belfast. Thank you to Dr John Diamond and Cookstown Community Services Home Care Department who attended Sadie and made her last few days as comfortable as possible. Acknowledgement for Johnny McFalone

 

Johnny McFalone, died 17th August 2020 RIP.
Katy, Chris, Cein, Flynn and Anna would like to thank everyone who called to the house, came to the funeral and lined the streets as Johnny made his final journey. It gave Katy great comfort to see how loved her father was. Special thanks to the Rainey Old Boys Rugby Club for their tributes and for providing a guard of honour for Johnny. Thanks to everyone who has shared their memories of Johnny with us.
Thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards and sympathy cards. Thank you to everyone who prepared food and helped prepare the house for the wake. Thank you to Fr. Gates for the beautiful service which was so fitting for Johnny. Thank you to Michael Glackin for the music at the funeral, it was really special.
A word of thanks to Bryson’s bar for the refreshments after the funeral mass and their wonderful tributes to Johnny also. Thank you to all Johnny’s friends for all their kindness towards him, especially in his final weeks. Thank you to the staff at the Macmillan unit at Mid Ulster hospital for making Johnny’s last few days as comfortable as possible. Thank you to McCusker brothers for their dignified and helpful service and for making a tough time for the family as stress free as possible. Katy has been overwhelmed by the support she has received at this sad time and offers sincere thanks to everyone mentioned above and anyone who has reached out to her in any way.

Anne, Maureen, Carlus and family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the many friends and family for their kindness, support and prayers over the last few weeks.  They would like to thank all those who have called at the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and letters of condolence.  Many thanks to all those who prepared and sent refreshments, and to those who assisted with parking.  They were overwhelmed by the large number of people who lined the route from their home to the chapel, and took great comfort from the support of those who attended the funeral mass, listened outside the chapel and the many who watched the Mass online.  A special word of thanks to Fr Peter Madden for his spiritual guidance and very fitting ceremony, and also to Fr Downey, Fr O’Neill, Fr Mc Girr and Fr Doherty for being present for the celebration of Mass.  Sincere thanks to the McCusker Brothers for their dignified and professional funeral arrangements, to the many men who prepared the grave, to Frankie Rainey and Charlene Gilmore for the readings and to Janette McDaid, Enya Loughlin, Plunkett McGartland and Rory Madden for the beautiful music. The family of the late Joan MacLarnon wish to acknowledge all the expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our recent bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who provided emotional support, in so many ways, at this difficult time; we are very grateful for your thoughtfulness. A special word of thanks to the dedicated staff of Milesian Manor who were so good to Joan during her time there. We thank Fr. John Gates for his guidance and support and for celebrating Joan's funeral Mass; we also thank everyone who participated in the Mass, in person or via webcam, Breid Campbell for her gift of music, and those who prepared the grave.
