Bennie and children of the late Dolores Vincent wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them and provided support during their recent bereavement.

We offer our sincere gratitude to Fr. Francis Coll for the spiritual support and for celebrating the requiem mass. Thank you to Margert Conlon and Patick Slevin for the hymns and music, to all those who took part in the mass and to John Spratt who prepared the grave.

Thanks to the relatives and friends who attended the wake and funeral, those who sent mass and sympathy cards and messages via social media.  We as a family would like to express our sincere gratitude to Fairfield's homecare, Anne’s Home Care, Coagh Medical Centre and Fall's pharmacy for their care and support they offered to Dolores over the years and to Cookstown Day centre for their support the last 6 months.

 Acknowledgement for Seamus Doherty

We, the family of the late Seamus Doherty wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement. We would especially like to thank our extended family, friends, neighbours, and everyone who helped at the wake. Those who brought food, sent mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, posted tributes online, sent messages, called at the house, stood along the road as we made our way to Seamus’s resting place and attended the funeral.

Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and entire medical profession who cared for Seamus during his illness. We will be forever grateful to the team in the respiratory ward in Antrim Hospital, the Marie Curies nurses, community nurses and personal care team, Casltedawson GP surgery and all in McKeevers Pharmacy, Castledawson.

A special word of thanks to Seamus’s nephew Fr Martin McErlean, Fr John Fox and Deacon Kevin Duffy for a deeply personal celebration of his life and Requiem Mass.

We as an entire family were deeply humbled and by the support and practical assistance, we received from Sean O’Leary’s Newbridge GAC community throughout the wake and funeral. Thank you.

We would also like to thank McCusker Bros Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate, and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thank you to James McCoy for his gravedigging services.

We will be forever grateful for all the support and kindness we have received during this difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.

We the family of the late Mary McLernon would like to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to everyone that offered support and sympathised with them during our recent sad bereavement. 

We are forever grateful to our extended family, many friends, good neighbours and colleagues who helped us throughout the wake and funeral. Thanks also to those who attended our home, sent sympathy cards, Mass cards and messaged. To all those who provided food, helped in the kitchen and sent floral arrangements we will never forget your kindness. Special thanks to those that helped to care for mum throughout her illness, to the Consultants, Doctors and nurses of ward A3 Antrim Area Hospital, to the Doctors and nurses of Garden Street Surgery, the Respiratory Team at Mid Ulster Hospital, BOC, and McLaughlin’s Pharmacy and the team at Connected Health 

We greatly appreciate those who attended and took part in mum’s funeral mass as well as those that followed via the webcam both at home and abroad and to those that gathered at her home to walk with us on her journey to the church. 

Profound thanks to Fr Gates for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass and for his visits to mum at home and in hospital, your support and friendship throughout the years meant so much to her and our family. Thanks also to the Sacristan, the Eucharistic ministers, the grave diggers and our sincere thanks to Margaret Anne Conlon and Patrick for the beautiful singing and music which added so much throughout the mass. 

To the McCusker Brothers, Enda, Tom and Ronan we are indebted to you, for going the extra mile to get mum home and for your guidance, care and compassion shown to us throughout the wake and funeral. 

Thanks To Paddy and staff at the Terrace Hotel for the refreshments following the funeral.

Sincere Heartfelt thanks to family, friends and neighbours for support during this difficult time of our dear Daddy, Granda and beloved Husband. Special Thanks to McCuskers funeral directors, Enda and Ronan for guiding us through a very difficult time. They helped organise so much more and their professional service went beyond, we are so very grateful.

Extended thanks to Fr Gates for the years of kindness and friendship to Joe and our family, including the celebration of requiem mass joined by Fr Donnelly and Fr Juan. We know there are so many others to mention and would be impossible to thank you all. We hope you take this acknowledgment as a token of our gratitude and sincerity that went unnoticed.

Losing a loved one that was deeply cherished and loved it is consoling to see how much he was loved and adored by others in the outpour of attendance, messages and comments on social media. He truly was a gentleman and a very loved husband, father and granda who will be sorely missed beyond words.

The family of the late Cathal McKenna, would like to express our deep appreciation to all those who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent bereavement. Heartfelt thanks to the many friends, family and neighbours for their kindness throughout the wake and funeral. We are hugely grateful to all those who called at the family home during the wake, brought flowers, Mass cards and sympathy cards, shared messages of compassion on all platforms, brought food and helped with catering.

We greatly appreciate all those who attended Cathal’s Requiem Mass as well as those who followed the live stream and gathered along the route to the church. Your presence brought great comfort to the family.

We, the family of Tony O’Neill, wish to express our gratitude for the support and sympathy shared during our recent bereavement. Tony was a greatly loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

The family of the late Shaun Letters wish to sincerely thank all who sympathised with us following our sudden and devastating loss. We can only express our sincere gratitude to all of the emergency services, especially NIAS for their professionalism, empathy and support.

Thank you to Fr Gates & Fr Juan for visiting Rosemary in hospital and at home, giving her much comfort throughout her illnesses and for the beautiful funeral mass. Thanks to Jim McPeake and the Hanna Sisters for the exquisite music and hymns. Thanks to the Parish centre volunteers who provided excellent refreshments after the funeral, of which Rosemary thoroughly enjoyed volunteering with previously. A special word of thanks to all of Rosemary's friends from the Lagan Dragons community, a great organisation of which Rosemary thoroughly enjoyed & adored.

We are eternally grateful for the professional and compassionate care provided by all those that attended to Nuala during her illness. All the Doctors in Kilrea Heath Center, the nursing team and receptionists; all the District Nurses, the Marie Curie nurses and the Hospice nurses; the staff of Shields Pharmacy in both Kilrea and Swatragh; all the carers from the NHS trust and Anns Carers; the staff of Coleraine Hospital, Antrim Hospital and the Macmillan Unit team. Your care for Nuala was wonderful during a very difficult time.

The wife, son, daughter and extended family of the late Raymond Craig wish to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped and supported them in their recent sad loss.

Thank you to all who cared for Raymond during his illness, especially the Respiratory Team at Antrim Area Hospital and the staff on A3. Thank you to the hospital chaplains who provided pastoral and spiritual support to Raymond.

Sincere thanks to all our friends, family members, wonderful neighbours and work colleagues who helped in so many ways. Thank you to those who brought food to the house, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, flowers, and posted messages on social media. To those who called at the house and attended the funeral. A special thanks to the pupils of The Blessed Trinity College and teachers who formed a guard of honour outside the Church. This all has been a huge comfort to us. 

Thank you to Father Pat O'Hagan for visiting Raymond at home during his illness and in hospital and for celebrating his beautiful requiem mass. Also, thanks to the Gribben sisters for the beautiful music, church sacristan John, fellow parishioners for their help and support with car parking arrangements on the morning of the funeral, Eucharistic ministers and gravediggers. The family of the late Orla Kielt wish to express their heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation for the support, kindness, and compassion shown to us during our recent bereavement. Your care has brought great comfort at an unimaginably difficult time. We extend our deepest gratitude to the NIAS and the PSNI for their professionalism, empathy, and support. Their dignity towards Orla and for our family meant more than words can express. 

Our sincere thanks also go to Orla’s dear friends, our neighbours, relatives, and wider family circle, whose presence, help, and compassion have been a great source of strength. Your continued support has carried us through the darkest days, and we remain deeply grateful. A special thank you is extended to the NHSCT, the Public Health Nursing Team in Ballymena, Breast Care at Laurel House, and the team on A3 at Antrim Area Hospital. Orla was remembered by her colleagues with genuine warmth and affection. The kind words shared about her kindness, dedication, compassion, integrity, and professionalism will forever remain close to our hearts.

We offer our sincere appreciation to Fr Gates for his spiritual support and the beautiful Requiem Mass, from which we continue to draw comfort. Magherafelt was central to Seamus’s life. He was always so proud of where he came from and of the community that shaped him. The way everyone has come together over the past few days would have filled him with pride for the place he called home for 71 years.

The messages, kind words, and genuine care shown to his wife and children have given us strength when we’ve needed it most. We are deeply grateful to everyone who called to the house, attended the wake or funeral, sent Mass cards, flowers, food and words of comfort. Your presence and support have been an immense comfort.

Acknowledgement for Paul Martin

'As a family we wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised with us during the recent bereavement of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Paul Martin. 

Thanks to our extended family, friends, colleagues and the community of Magherafelt for their heartfelt support and kindness during Paul's illness, wake and funeral. This was deeply appreciated by us all. 

We are especially grateful to Father Gates and Father Juan for their support in the latter stages of Paul's illness and for the beautiful funeral mass celebrating Paul's life and to all who contributed to the mass in any way. Heartfelt thanks to the McCusker Bros Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism throughout. 

Our eternal thanks to the GP's and District Nursing Team of Garden Street Surgery, the NHSCT carers team, staff at Milesian Manor, both McGlaughlin's and O'Brien's pharmacies and Marie Curie for their compassion and care of Paul throughout his illness. 

To friends who helped with refreshments at the wake, Brysons bar and Paul's friends at Rainey Old Boys Rugby Club, your support was so greatly appreciated. 

We extend our deepest gratitude to the many people who supported Paul and family through his illness, called to our home, attended the wake and funeral or watched online, sent mass cards and made donations to Marie Curie. Your compassion, kind words and memories you shared of Paul we will forever hold in our hearts. 

Paul's months mind mass will be celebrated on Monday 4th August at 7.30pm in Church of the Assumption, Magherafelt.'

Acknowledgement for Evie Kennedy

A Letter of Acknowledgement and Sincere Appreciation from the Parents of the Late Evie Kennedy

As a family, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us during our sadness with the loss of our beautiful little girl, Evie. We are deeply touched by the support and comfort we have received from our family, friends, and neighbours who called during Evie’s wake and attended her funeral. Your sympathy cards, mass cards, and well-wishes have provided us with strength and comfort.

We extend our special thanks to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, particularly the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, for their unwavering support during Evie’s admissions. Their kindness, care, and dignity in treating Evie will always be cherished. We are also deeply thankful to Musgrave Park Hospital and the Causeway community nurses for their invaluable assistance.

Our gratitude goes to Father O’Reilly for his compassionate presence throughout the wake and for delivering a heartfelt requiem mass, and to Father Damien McCaughan for praying with us on the morning of Evie’s funeral. Their kindness and spiritual support have been deeply appreciated in our time of sorrow. We also wish to acknowledge all those who assisted and participated in Evie’s mass and those who lovingly prepared her final resting place.

A special word of thanks to Andrea Beagley for her beautiful singing during Evie’s funeral mass, and to the Elk and its staff for their hospitality following the funeral. We are also grateful to McCusker Bros Funeral Directors for their compassion, guidance, dignity, and professionalism throughout the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation and gratitude for the kindness and support we have received over these past few weeks.

Evie is deeply loved and sorely missed every day. We are so proud of her strength and may her precious soul be granted peace and eternal rest.

Evie’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Moneyglass, on Saturday, 2nd August at 6 pm.

Acknowledgement for Mark McVey

As a family we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who supported us during the recent bereavement of our beloved husband and father, Mark McVey. Your kindness, presence, and generosity brought great comfort and strength during this difficult time. 

We are especially grateful to the staff at Diamond Medical Practice, particularly Dr. Morris, for her years of dedicated care, home visits, and constant support. Thank you to all the staff at McGlaughlin’s Pharmacy for their consistent help, and to the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and staff of Antrim Area Hospital. While Mark was at home, the district nurses, carers, and the Marie Curie team showed incredible kindness and compassion, which we will always remember. 

To our family, friends, and neighbours, your visits, calls, and the food you brought reminded us of the caring community around us. Thank you to those who helped prepare the house for the wake and funeral. To St. Patrick's GAC The Loup and other volunteers for assisting with parking and lending supplies. To everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, and flowers, your thoughtful words and gestures brought warmth and consolation to our hearts. 

We are grateful to McCusker Brothers Funeral Directors for their professionalism and compassion. To Gerard’s Flowers for the beautiful arrangements, and to Christie print for the Mass booklets. Thanks also to the singers, musicians, readers, Eucharistic ministers, and sacristan Robert for their contributions to the funeral service giving Mark a beautiful and respectful sendoff. 

A special thank you to Father McArdle for his visits, phone calls, and comforting words before, during, and after the funeral. We are grateful to the staff at The Black Sheep for providing tasty refreshments, and to the gravedigger for his respectful and dignified work. 

It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, but please accept this as a sincere expression of our appreciation for all your kindness.

Acknowledgement for John Doyle

We, the family of the late John Doyle wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thanks to all our family, many friends and kind neighbours of O’Neills Park and O’Neills Crescent for all their help during John’s wake and for all the prayers and support we have received. We extend our deepest gratitude to the many people who called to our home, attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards, provided floral tributes or made donations, and provided food and refreshments.

Thanks to O’Neill Arms Toome, for the lovely refreshments after the funeral. Thanks to St Treas GFC Ballymaguigan for use of their chairs, kitchenware, etc for the wake, and special thanks to the marshals who directed traffic during the wake and funeral.

Special word of thanks to Fr Fox for his support and spiritual guidance to John throughout his time in hospital. Thanks to Deacon Kevin and Fr Juan for the special mass celebrating John’s life, and everyone who participated in the mass. Special thanks to Edel and Clodagh (The Gribbin Girls) for the beautiful music.

We also wish to express our gratitude to the staff of Garden Street Surgery, the staff on Ward C4, and Intensive Care Unit in Antrim Area Hospital, the nurses in the MacMillan unit in Antrim Area Hospital who provided care for John throughout his illness. A heartfelt thanks to McCusker Brothers for their professionalism, dignity and compassion showed to us throughout this difficult time. We would like to thank the McCoys and all who prepared the grave for John’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
