The family of the late Stephen McNaney would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported them during their recent bereavement. We thank all who attended the wake, sent messages, mass and sympathy cards, flowers and provided refreshments. Thank you to all who attended the funeral or tuned in via webcam – we took great comfort from those who lined outside the house and throughout Moneymore for the funeral cortege – special thanks to Stephens work friends for their beautiful guard of honour outside the chapel. Thank you to Fr McArdle for the fitting and comforting service, to Ciara Fox for the beautiful music and singing, the gravediggers and to the McCuskers for the professional and dignified manner in carrying out the funeral arrangements. Thank you to all the family and friends who supported dad throughout his illness, he appreciated it as much as we did – lastly a special thanks to dads partner Mary Henry for the unending love and care you showed to dad before and during his illness – we will be eternally grateful for this.

We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

We would like to say that we were overwhelmed with the flower tributes and thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts. To all our neighbours here in Glenburn for their kindest and generosity. Mammy’s month mind mass will be held on Thursday 26th @ 7.30pm in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt, due to the current pandemic we are only allowed 100 people at the mass. Brigid and the family of the late Patrick McKenna RIP, 57 Ranaghan Road, Maghera, wish to express our thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Sincere thanks to Ft Paddy Doherty for his compassion and spiritual support. His sermon was very fitting and comforting. Thanks to Ft Ciaran Doherty who helped celebrate the Requiem Mass. A word of thanks to all the medical professionals, and our heartfelt gratitude to Martin McKenna at Shields Pharmacy who’s compassion, professionalism and support was greatly appreciated. We thank all of those who sent Mass cards, and the many people who took the time to write letters. Thanks to everyone who lined the funeral cortège route and those who managed the traffic on the Glenshane Pass. Thanks also to everyone who listened to the Mass from the Chapel carpark and those who joined us in the chapel via the parish webcam, and to Niamh McGlinchey for her beautiful singing. We thank the McCusker Bros for the caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements., to the grave diggers and all who helped out on the day. The family of the late James Mc Peake R.I.P, Maghera, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our extended family, friends and local community who sympathised with us, provided support, brought refreshments and helped us during our recent bereavement. We would also like to thank those who sent mass & sympathy cards, personal messages , visited the house and sent floral tributes during these challenging times. We are very grateful for the medical care and support daddy received during his lifetime. We can’t thank the staff in Maghera Medical Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital and One to One Care enough for all they have done for daddy over the last year. They have provided an outstanding service to us. We would like to extend our deep appreciation and thanks to Antrim Area Hospital for the care Daddy received in his final few days. His health declined very quickly and unexpectedly during this time but thanks to them we were able to say our goodbyes. A special thanks to Father Paddy Doherty for his spiritual support and celebration of requiem mass, and to Niamh Mc Glinchey for the lovely music. Many thanks to the McCusker Brothers for their dignified and professional funeral arrangements and to the Gravediggers who prepared the grave. We took great comfort from the support of our friends and neighbours who gathered near our home, along the route to the Chapel and attended the funeral to pay their respect on daddy's final journey.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Extra Care teams, Hilary Ferguson NI Hospice and Mc Millen Nurses for the wonderful care and attention they give to our mother in the last few months of her life. We would like to express our deep gratitude to the doctors and nurses in Garden Street & Bellaghy Surgery especially Dr Anne Walls, Nurses Heather Stevenson, Therese Mitchell and District Nurses who treated mum with compassion and care thought out the years. A special thanks to Kathleen & Jimmy (late) Doak for their wonderful friendship & care to Pasty over the years. To Niall and all the staff at O’Brien’s Chemist, Broad Street  for the exceptional care they provided to Patsy over the years, especially in her final days. The family of the late Aiden Quinn RIP, 65 Longfield Road, Desertmartin wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the family, friends and community who supported us during the recent bereavement of our precious son and brother. Geraldine, Brian, Gary and Noel, family of the late Owen Doyle, wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We took great comfort from the support of the large number of people who lined the route from our home to the chapel and those who gathered around the chapel knowing that under the current restrictions they would not be able to attend Owen’s Funeral Mass.  We thank all our relatives, friends, neighbours and especially Anne Marie Costello who helped in so many ways during Owen’s illness and at the time of his death. Thanks is extended to The Oncology team in Belfast City Hospital, Dr Monica Antrim Area Hospital, Dr McKay and Dr Halloway Moneymore Medical Centre, Hillary and the Macmillan Nursing Team, Marie Curie nurses, District Nurses, Aisling,Claire,Orla,Bronagh and Anna and also Stephen and the staff at Moneymore Chemist who we will be forever grateful to. Without each of you it would not have been possible for Owen to fulfil his wish to stay at home with his family in his final few weeks. We extend a very special thanks to Fr John Fox for his spiritual guidance in the last few days and Fr Martin McArdle who was a great support to Owen and his family and continuously provided guidance and comfort. A special thanks to all our friends & relatives who participated in the Funeral Mass and those who watched on the webcam, especially our relations in America. Thanks also to the Gribbin Girls for the beautiful music. Thanks to Michael Mawhinney for the beautiful singing as requested by Sylvia and the beautiful singing at the graveside by Leesa Seffen. To Christie's Printing service. Tim McPeake RIP 6th September 2020

 

We, the family of the late Tim McPeake RIP, wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We thank everyone who visited the house, brought gifts, telephoned, sent Mass cards, letters, messages & cards of sympathy, floral tributes, and all who attended the funeral. We took great comfort from the support of the large number of people who lined the route from our home to the chapel and those who gathered in the chapel car park knowing that under the current restrictions they would not be able to attend Tim's Funeral Mass - please know this was noted and greatly appreciated. We thank all our relatives, friends and especially our neighbours who helped in so many ways during Tim's illness and at the time of his death. Special thanks to our dear friends Claire Mulholland and Anthony Murray who were a great support to Tim for many years. Thanks is extended to Dr Woulahan, Dr Murphy, the district nursing team and all the staff of Castledawson Surgery & McKeever's Chemist. We are indebted to the amazing staff of the Macmillan Unit in Antrim where Tim spent his final few days. We extend very special thanks to our Parish Priest Fr John Fox who was a great support to Tim and the family and who continuously provided guidance and comfort. Thanks is extended to Dermot Doherty our sacristan, to Finnuala Nugent & Anne McNabb who ensured Tim's Funeral Mass was live streamed to our family in New York, and to the grave-diggers. Special thanks to all our friends & relatives who participated in the Funeral Mass, to the Gribbin Girls for the beautiful music and to our dear friend Pól Mac Adaim for providing such a fitting final farewell for Tim. We are most grateful to McCusker Bros for the professional & sympathetic manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. We extend special thanks to Seán O'Leary GAC, Newbridge & the local Republican Community for the active role they played in supporting our family and honouring Tim. We would also like to thank those who have shown support for James, Niall, Allyson and Jake in San Francisco; all of which were much appreciated. We took great comfort from the support of the large number of people who lined the route from our home to the chapel and those who attended the funeral mass.  The family of the late Ursula Storrie; Seamus, Maria, Cathy, Ryan and Jacinta would like to express their sincere appreciation to the many friends and family for their kindness, support and prayers over the last few weeks on the death of their beloved wife and mother. We would like to thank all those who have called at the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, letters of condolence and those who placed messages on social media; all of which were much appreciated. We were overwhelmed by the large number of people who lined the route from our home to the chapel and we took great comfort from the support of those who attended the funeral mass, listened outside the chapel and the many whose thoughts were with us. We would like to express our gratitude for those who travelled long distances.A special word of thanks to Fr Dallat and Fr McWilliams for their spiritual guidance and very personal funeral ceremony.  To the team at Garden Street Surgery, the district nurses from Randalstown Surgery and the NI Hospice nurses who attended Ursula with such care and affection, we wish to express our deepest appreciation. Our most sincere thanks to the McCusker Bros Funeral Directors for their very dignified and professional funeral arrangements, to the many men who prepared the grave, to the Gribbin Girls for their lovely music inside the chapel and to Noel who piped so beautifully outside the chapel. We as a family have been overwhelmed with support but due to the current situation it was not possible to meet with all the many friends and family that wished to pay their respects to Ursula. Johnny McFalone, died 17th August 2020 RIP.
Katy, Chris, Cein, Flynn and Anna would like to thank everyone who called to the house, came to the funeral and lined the streets as Johnny made his final journey. It gave Katy great comfort to see how loved her father was. Special thanks to the Rainey Old Boys Rugby Club for their tributes and for providing a guard of honour for Johnny. Thanks to everyone who has shared their memories of Johnny with us.
Thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards and sympathy cards. Thank you to everyone who prepared food and helped prepare the house for the wake. Thank you to Fr. Gates for the beautiful service which was so fitting for Johnny. Thank you to Michael Glackin for the music at the funeral, it was really special.
A word of thanks to Bryson’s bar for the refreshments after the funeral mass and their wonderful tributes to Johnny also. Thank you to all Johnny’s friends for all their kindness towards him, especially in his final weeks. Thank you to the staff at the Macmillan unit at Mid Ulster hospital for making Johnny’s last few days as comfortable as possible. Thank you to McCusker brothers for their dignified and helpful service and for making a tough time for the family as stress free as possible. Katy has been overwhelmed by the support she has received at this sad time and offers sincere thanks to everyone mentioned above and anyone who has reached out to her in any way.
